Natalie Hershlag, Popularly known as Natalie Portman, is an Israeli and American actress. She is one of the few
Hollywood Actresses who are known for their excellent acting. Portman was born in Jerusalem, Israel to Avner Hershlag, is a fertility specialist and Shelley Hershlag, an American homemaker. In 1999, she enrolled at Harvard University to study psychology while she was working on the Star Wars films and completed her bachelor's degree in 2003.
In 2011, Portman won the Academy Award, the Golden Globe Award, the Screen Actors Guild Award, and the BAFTA Award for her lead performance as Nina in Black Swan. Earlier Natalie Portman was in a relationship with American folk singer Devendra Banhart but ended in September 2008. On the sets of the film "Black Swan", She met ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied and two had begun dating. On December 27, 2010, a Portman representative told the press that Portman and Millepied are engaged and they are expecting their first child in the summer of 2011.
